That is an answer, not a failure. Most rocks have no market to sell them into — we say so plainly instead of showing $0.00, and the report then tells you what the stone actually is and how old it is, which is usually the better story.
Every figure is a range, and it is an estimate, not an offer. We do not buy rocks and we take no cut if you sell one. A photograph cannot measure hardness, streak, or density, so when one of those would settle the answer the app says which test to run rather than guessing.
Deliberate. Below a certain confidence the app will not print a single name it cannot stand behind; it shows both possibilities and the 30-second test that separates them.
A subscription unlocks unlimited appraisals. You are charged when you tap, and it renews until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device — we cannot cancel it for you, and Apple handles refunds.

Your collection stays on your phone. A photo leaves the device only when you ask for an appraisal. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
